Download CLI tools from the Admin Portal

Overview

AccelByte Multiplayer Servers (AMS) comes with two complementary CLI tools that enables you to:

1. Upload dedicated server files and containerize them into dedicated server image for regional distribution.
2. Test your dedicated server locally according to AMS standards to ensure the dedicated server will work on the AMS environment without having to upload a dedicated server build to test.

Prerequisites

• Access to the AccelByte Gaming Services (AGS) Admin Portal and the namespace for your game.
• An existing AMS-linked game namespace.

Download the latest CLI tools from the Admin Portal

After you have created or linked an AMS account with your game namespace, the Download Resource option will be available under the AccelByte Multiplayer Servers (AMS) menu. Click that option to go to the Download Resource page.

You will see a list of the available CLI tools for each platform. Click the Download button of the tool you want to download.

FAQ

What if I want an older version of the tools?

AMS keeps a repository of the historical tools that were released. Contact your AccelByte technical producer to request an older version of an AMS CLI tool.
